Stitch up some colourful stockings with this bright festive embroidery kit. Stripes, spots and chevrons are all present in this bold stitch project!

This embroidery kit follows a ‘stitch by numbers’ format – grab your thread and use it to meditatively stitch over the design in all the sections specified. Embroidery is a great craft to allow you to express your creativity, as it’s much more freeform than cross stitch or template driven felt projects.

The original illustrated design has been digitally printed onto cotton so you can add your stitching and details, following our tips and instructions. This kit is perfect for beginners as it only uses a couple of basic stitches but if you’re an embroidery pro’ please feel free to freestyle! Mount the finished work on to the hoop, cover the back and hang in pride of place!

– Printed cotton artwork (with colours to stitch over)

– DMC threads and embroidery needle

– 4″ Embroidery hoop

– Wool mix felt to cover the back of your hoop when finished

– Stitch guide and ‘How to Embroider’ instructions

The only thing you’ll need to stitch this kit up is a pair of scissors. Oh, and a cup of tea and a biscuit to help the job along! (always craft with refreshments)

The kit is beautifully packaged in a colourful box which can be used to store your work if you get interrupted mid task! The fully recyclable box measures approx 14 x 14 x 2cm and the finished artwork in the hoop is 4″/10cm.

This project is suitable for beginners but contains small parts so is not suitable for under 14’s or to be used as a toy. Should be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
